June 19, 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00
80 Maiden Lane
New York, NY 10038
The transition planning workshop focuses on how eligibility for benefits and entitlements like Medicaid, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Social Security Disability (SSD), Medicare, and other benefits change or become available as a child transitions to adulthood.
By the end of this workshop, participants should be able to identify how meeting milestones like turning 18, turning 21, and becoming employed affect a person’s benefits.
Other transitions (such as retirement) may also be discussed if time permits.
